Team vs Norwich Empty Team vs Norwich

I think MP will have his eye on the Sevilla game and won't start David, even if he is fit.

He hasn't any choice as to his full backs, and I can see Kompany back in defence.

I don't think he's got the guts to pick Itchy above Scratchy.

KDB is more effective in the middle, i would start with Bony but if he has as little impact as he did on Wednesday then i would bring Keletchi on for the second half. Little patience was shown to Dzeko when he struggled to score or missed copious chances so i dont think Bony should get any preferential treatment despite his big money transfer.
I would play Ferdi with Dino ahead of Yaya, Ferdi has been in good form unlike Yaya but Pel will play Yaya.

I must be watching a different Bony to everyone else? yes he isn't as quick as some forwards but from what I have seen he has a good touch his workrate off the ball is unselfish he obviously does enough to have defenders keeping a close watch on his movement, he appears strong & his header on weds was classic considering the ball was going behind him but not only did he react quickly he got some power in the header as well. He is a striker who is not afraid to have a go, yes he may miss a few but will score Dzeko missed far more to score 1 or 2. I always liked Dzeko until last season where I felt he really did not appear  to want to be at city as his effort on the pitch was minimal. Bony on the other hand has hit it off with Sterling & Kelechi, He seems to be far more of team player & may benefit more in a 2 man strike force than a lone striker role. I would give him as much time as needed. How many wanted the goat gone before he endeared himself to the faithful?  it was a season & a half before he started getting some recognition from some sections of the crowd.

Mango hadn't put a foot wrong in my opinion so I would keep him in & save Otto for sevilla.

I think it will pretty much be the same team as the Bournemouth game, except sagna at rb & Kolarov lb Kompany  CB with Mango alongside.

I agree Oz. I must be watching different games.

Thought Bony was ok on Weds. He scored a cracking header, worked hard, kept the ball well....yeah, he missed a few chances, but this is only his 4th game on a run -give him a chance.

Dzeko was useless for the last 18 months, couldn't be arsed to jump, never mind run - that's the difference between him and Bony IMO.

I'm glad I am not the only one then. I am all for giving them a fair chance. I guess with the success & the fees we pay we expect instant rewards for our money. That to me smacks of all the the things i hated & still hate about the scum supporters when we were down in div 3. We are very lucky that guys like Aguero & KDB have hit the ground running where guys like Mango, Demi, Fernando maybe need that half to a full season to adjust.

You are not the only one Oz (and Bluey) - I think Bony has been through a lot - not just malaria - but his mum died recently and he was also the star at Swansea - and now he's trying to find his fit with players such as Silva, Aguero etc., a lot of pressure etc.  I think he will come good in time.

Take Julius Caesar for example... not a hit at first but now they say he wanks highly in Wome.

City XI: Hart, Sagna, Kompany (C), Otamendi, Kolarov, Toure, Fernandinho, Navas, De Bruyne, Bony, Iheanacho

Wow, finally is MP softening a little.  I like this line up.
