Tevez, though, still looks back on his time at the club with fond memories, and insists he is still a fan.
“When Manchester United play Manchester City, I root for City,” he added.
“To see City go from a neighbour team, if you will, to one of the big clubs in Europe, it makes me proud. I am a city fan.”

He's clearly not stupid, then!
But I suspect this has more to do with the differences in the way he was treated. At the Salford club, he was thought of more as a stop-gap, someone they could take or leave. But with us, he was a key figure in our plans for world domination.
Oh, and someone should tell Carlito, we've got three restaurants in Manchester now

Although he will never go down as a legend at City, mainly due to his tantrum in the Bayern game, he was a very very good player. Shame we cant have him back for a few games

When he was in the pitch, you couldn't fault his effort.

Top player...agree, apart from his outburst and strike action, would be right up there with the best of the modern era at City.

Plus you have to give it to him, he went back to Argentina when he could easily of stuck it out in Europe for another couple of big season pay days. Got to respect that in a player. I blame Bobby Manc as much as Tevez for the strop but he was a dick.
