Yeah, massive shock to hear this news. Just goes to show, doesn't matter who you are or how physically fit you are, when your body's had had enough it's game over.

Yes very very sad news. He was a true legend of the sport. It was an awesome sight to see him smash his way through whole defences !

Wow, this is really sad news
I remember when he first came to prominence with his displays on the field. The two things that struck me about him as a player were his speed and his power, the way he used to smash through players like a bowling ball through pins. Absolutely incredible to watch, almost like he was more than human.
He had a great attitude to his disease as well, it seems, giving it a big two fingers and cracking on with life regardless. I know some people who could take a lesson here...
