Surely Leicester can't bin it?
They keep on bucking expectations. They keep on playing exciting football, scoring goals and winning football matches. In Vardy and Mahrez, they surely have two of the best players, in form, this season so far. Vardy has 15 league goals. Mahrez is into double figures with league goals and he has 7 assists as well.
How long can they keep this going for? Keep these two guys fit and keep up their high energy football, then maybe they can get top 4. They've got a 9 point cushion to the 5th place team. With 22 games to go, I think they'll secure top4 if they win half of them which is a very achievable objective for them. To win the league, I reckon they'll have to win 14 or 15 games and not lose too many. Who knows if that is a step too far for them but, they must have a chance.
As for Chelsea...

I presume you meant to say "win it" in your title Dawg .
Who knows, but City and the Arse are tucked in nicely and will probably stay the distance better. Realistically those 2 should end up 1st n 2nd....and i don't think many Leicester fans will expect Leicester to finish above them.
That said, they do keep winning though and without doubt a top 4 place is definitely on for them if they continue.
Whatever happens to them for the rest of the season, they can't say they haven't had a great season....tbh, it's a season in which they've exceeded all expectations. Good on um!

Re: Surely Leicester can't bin it?
I think it would be a real stretch for Leicester to win the league as well, because if either Vardy or Mahrez is injured or loses form, they don't have anyone else of that calibre to carry them over the line. Leicester fans know this, but the ones I've spoken to are realistic about their ambitions; they're loving it right now, but they think even top four is still a very big ask.
That said, us and Arse haven't exactly been firing on all cylinders so far. I think it would be a different story if at least one of us weren't dropping so many points. If either team raises their game now, they'd probably win by a mile.

I don't see why they can't win it. we would be very foolish to dismiss them just because they don't have history. They have managed without Vardy for 2 games comfortably they have Ulloa in reserve who is a very useful striker & subs the caliber of Inler plus talk of getting De Jong in January. I really think they could be a serious threat right to the end. They are showing us how we should be playing the game. They run, close down quickly, deny the opposition space & are very quick on the break. They also know how to take their chances. If anything we need to up ur game to their level. The other thing they have shown is consistency. (we could actually learn a thing or two of them)
Ranieri is a very shrewd manager also.

Hmm... Ulloa hasn't exactly set the Prem alight, even though he was walloping them in when they were in the Championship. But I'd agree, if they got our Nige in the centre of defense, they'd be an even bigger threat than they are now.
Ranieri knows what he's doing and he's doing it well. He's got them playing with an intensity and consistency that nobody else is matching. The point being, if we were matching their intensity, we'd be miles in front now. Ditto Arsenal.

Re: Surely Leicester can't bin it?
Everyone is waiting for the bubble to burst and amazingly it still hasn't. I think it may on Saturday at Everton away. I don't think they can keep it up for the whole season. They haven't got the strength in depth that we supposedly have
A few massive bids for both Vardy and Mahrez in the January transfer window will unsettle them both and the team even if they don't get sold, not that I would condone such unsporting tactics by us

Ulloa was banging them in for Brighton in the championship & also scored a fair few in leicester's first season in the prem bearing in mind he wasn't always first choice last season, he is still a very useful striker as back up.
