Big game tonight. It won't change who wins the PL, but it will certainly provide confidence with our big guns returning and the JAN window opening soon. If we lose, can only see a few new faces coming in during Jan, if we win and continue to do well, can see us doing very little in the market - so it's a massive game for the Manager and some players.

I don't blame you.  This is another woeful performance.

But then right from the kick-off, I could see what Wenger was doing.  Sit back, let us play in the MF, but close us down before we can get in behind them, wait for us to make a mistake and hit us on the break.  Almost every team that's taken points off us this season have played in the exact same way - West Ham, Villa, Spurs, rags...  Everyone bar the dippers, I'd say.

Second half, I'm expecting Wenger to give us 15 more minutes, then shut up shop for the night.  At which point we'll throw on Sterling and Itchy and maybe scrape a goal out late on when their back four are about to celebrate a clean sheet.

Yes, we look great on the ball, but we're just doing nothing with it.  There's no speed in attack, no creating space, everyone's relying on Merlin and KdB to do something special.  It's so irritating to watch because you can see exactly what's going to happen.  And it's happening again and again and again.  Even the rags could beat us right now and they can't even beat an egg...

I must admit, I'm finding it really hard to find any redemption for him right now.  It's painfully obvious we need speed and quality going forwards.  Right now, we have no speed and we're not going forwards.  If we're going to be leaky at the back, we at least need to score more and we're just not looking capable of it.  Christ knows how we beat Borussia Monchengladbach because we couldn't beat a fucking drum on this performance.

Oh look, the second half panned out pretty much as I called it. If a fuckwitt like me can see it, how can the bloke being paid hundreds of thousands not do? And look at the stats: 67% possession, 20+ attempts, six on target... How the hell are we not winning games with these stats? Give Barca this much time and they'll thrash anyone, but we're just far too slow.

On the plus side, I've finally got a CCS in the prediction league...
