Short-term fix?????

Nah, we need Rafa for our short term fix...

He's younger than TLMLF and tackles and runs more!!

Wait a minute though blue, we have Fernando, Fernandinho, Delph and Toure currently used in DM.....why would we want de Jong?

I don't see it as a short term fix....unless of course he can play CB

Firstly, TLMLF ain't no DMF.

Secondly, Fernando is useless in the DMF role.

Thirdly, Delph plays 2 games then gets another injury.

Fourthly, DeJong would probably be a more solid CB than what's on offer currently!

Lastly, I'd rather have DeJong and Fernandinho in there than what we currently have - Delph excluded, but hard to make a case for him until we've seen him play 4/5 matches on the spin.

Totally agree on the Toure and Fernando points. Delph and Fernandinho would be my starters, but realistically de Jong just ain't gonna come in to replace the other 2 while all of them are at the club.
