Patrick Roberts

Having a great game for Celtic against Hearts, not Premier League class team but decent opposition at his age. He is taking players on and unlike Navas he is beating them time and time again and has also scored 2 good goals. He is a good prospect but like Denayer will probably not make it to the City first team, although it looks like Denayer will now be brought back due to our defensive woes.

Roberts has an 18 month loan at Celtic. Guardiola is unknown regarding how he will judge the youth we have & those out on loan. A bit premature to say he won't get a chance.

I'd hope we can break that loan period if we wanted to. He should be with our first team. I'm still exited by the prospect of Roberts, Diaz, Alex and Manu Garcia.

Roberts took both goals superbly.

I think the keeper was a tad poor but Roberts does what Mahrez does. He takes people on, gets crosses in and has decent shots. I'm sure he'd have done really well for us if he'd been given a run in the team instead of Navas.

The same way Itchy would have done well for us if he'd been given a proper chance like Rashford and Iwobi have shown that they have something about them.

Celtic are saying that we can't get hm back before the 18 months are up.

Absolute arsehole who agreed to that.

It's bollocks, we'll just send them another Messi-esque teenager from our academy who can't get a game for us!

Every year we will be sending them a player that should be getting  some games for us (Denayer last year, Roberts this year).

There has to be a better solution than playing the kids in the EDS or Scots Premiership.

Clearly D. Guess we'll see when Pep comes in what he thinks.
