Good luck to the U18's tonight
2nd leg of the semi-final at the Emirates v Arsenal. We are 2-1 up from the first leg, but they are a very strong side, at home especially.
Trying to find a link to watch it.
If I get one, or others get one, post it on here please.

1-1.
All Arsenal, but a great rare breakaway and a good header from Diaz...Manu's playing as well, but Diaz looks like a mini-Merlin.
Gonna have to defend well and hit them on the break it seems.

2-1 at HT.....well done blue boys.
Great speed of thought at the free kick from Manu.

Kevin Campbell comparing Diaz to Messi!
TBF, he's only 16 and a real, real talent.
£200k from Malaga, but that could reach £2m depending on appearances...so that shows the calibre of the kid.
Oh well, maybe Pep will see his talent, which, is seriously impressive.

Doesn't Kevin Campbell have a son at our academy?

leg breaking tackle. bit unlucky as he seemed to slip and was accidental.

Re: Good luck to the U18's tonight
4-3 on aggregate....Arsenal down to 10 men.
Harsh...never a red card imo. The kid slipped.
Diaz looks a real talent, but he'll learn that after beating 3 players, he needs to release the ball.
6/7 times tonight he's dribbled past 3 players then tried one too many. But at 16, what a player.
Come on blue boys!! 12 mins to go.

And....Bony. Watch Nmecha and how he holds off challenges, works hard and fights for the cause.
He's another good kid along with Davenport, who is a mini DeJong.

If you've seen clips of Diaz on youtube, you'll see he's been doing that since he was about 5 years old!

Well done boys....looks like it'll be another final against Chelsea!
Grimshaw made up for that error with a great save from the free kick.
Some really good performances tonight. Nmecha, Davenport, Diaz, Yoyo and Oliver (who was poor in the first 15 mins), but for me, ended up MOM....another Zaba!!
They'll all be looking forward to Pep coming in and wanting to be the next Busquets for him!
The future is definitely bright...we just need a Manager who will have faith in them.

wholeheartedly agree with you bluey. Very well played after a shaky start. We could have scored a hatful. The future is bright.

Re: Good luck to the U18's tonight
Very well done to the lads. overall a good performance, some slack passing, dwelling on the ball and trying to beat too many players (diaz) as mentioned also a couple of good scoring chances blazed wide. But you have to remember what age these guys are it's hard at their age to maintain concentration for 90 minutes, it was a good performance against another good young side. Some good prospects for the future like Diaz and Davenport in particular.

I watched the last half hour...and it certainly got a little nervy towards the end.
Wtf was the keeper doing to handle it outside the area, talk about panicking, but as you said, made up for it with a decent save from the free-kick...thankfully.
Thought Adarabioyo looked good again at the back, he's certainly one for the future.
Well done to all concerned

Yoyo looks decent. Good tackler, his height is great and he's very composed on the ball for his age. They type of player Pep likes, so he may be in with a shot of the first team squad next season.
The commentator made a good point last night...prior to the derby, Yoyo had Rashford in his pocket when the academy teams met a few weeks earlier, therefore, why didn't the manager look at that and have that in his thinking when we played the rags at home, instead of playing MDM?

Some managers are willing to take that chance blue....unfortunately for us, some aren't.

Some managers want to, others are forced too. Sadly, we only use them when forced. Even then he played MDM instead of Yoyo
