PSG v Man City - Live Thread
First topic message reminder :
Countdown to tonight.
Team? For me, I'd go with this:
Hart
Sagna, Otamendi, Manga, Clichy
Fernandinho, Fernando
Navas, KDB, Silva
Aguero.

i never want to see him wearing a city shirt let alone play for us. he can't be arsed at all. he' knows he's a goner. Itchy is your go to man and should have been for over 6 months.

Thought Manga was probably the best player on the field tonight.
Brilliant result.
Shame, we gifted them 2 goals. Fernando and then Joe not catching the header and his effort to palm it wide was weak.
Still, can't complain too much with that, except....we saw Bony for 8 minutes, he mis-controlled a throw-in, didn't bother jumping for a header and misplaced a pass. Why? That's all I ask of the Manager when you have Kelechi on the bench who'll bust a gut for you.
Brilliant night for the travelling fans. Be safe.

Early doors our defence was getting caught high up the pitch with through balls
to Ibra through the massive gaps they were leaving. They have to keep their shape better and hold the line and stop chasing about the park leaving us wide open at the back, lucky Ibra didnt have his shooting boots on tonight.

He may be solid, at times, when he's close to a man but his passing and decision making on the ball is too poor. I've seen it ever since he joined us.

didn't see most of the 2nd half, but we were very lucky in the 1st half with those through balls without a defender in sight. I think Mangala did foul and it should have been a penalty early doors. Luiz should have seen red too.
We got a draw, so pleased with the end result.

Not gonna get too excited as we have lost a few important games at home this season BUT for today, yes that was an excellent result

Yes it was - the Swedish Andy Carroll was offside too for their second goal - he clearly interfered with play - but linesman was poor again.

Swedish Andy Carroll!!
Not a great game, but a superb result for us. Apparently, there's a 79.4% chance of us progressing on the back of that. But then we always break the odds...

Tbh leo, if we don't get through now, we'll only have ourselves to blame.
Lat night was a great result, one i'm sure we'd all have settled for before the game.

It's a big shame Sideshow Bob is banned for the return match! He gives Mango and MDM a run for worst defender with a 30m+ price tag. They will probably be tighter at the back as a result.
