Pogba to cost more than £71M
That was the asking price last summer and city said no. Now Juve say it's even higher and they don't want to sell.
I just don't know if we'll stump up £90M+ for him. we've got the money so it'll depend just how much Pep wants him.

Re: Pogba to cost more than £71M
If KDB is worth £55m this season and already shown what an absolutely brilliant impact he brings....I don't really care how much a player costs, as long as Pep knows he can get him to play in the way that KDB has.
If that's £80-90m for Pogba (who is classed as the best young MF player in the world), then so be it. If we have the money, buy him.
We shouldn't have to totally overhaul the team this summer, just add another striker for Bony, add a CB/RB and a LB...and then we're there.
We've got players to sell as well, so money shouldn't be an issue for us as I'm sure Pep will have some of the existing players, playing at another 10-20% anyway.

don't think Juve would have much choice unless they get pogba to sign new contract as he is out of contract in the summer, interested to see how they can demand such a fee????

Re: Pogba to cost more than £71M
Money isn't an issue, especially if we qualify for the CL next season. That money alone will nearly pay for Pogba. We've already made €36.5M in prizemoney. Getting through to the final is worth €10.5M minimum (winner gets €15M).
This year, we'll get at least €40M from the tv money (probably more since only 3 teams made it through the group stages).
So we've probably made £60M from the CL campaign so far and that doesn't include gate receipts.

I am not saying we can't afford him or that it is too much , I just don't get how Juve can demand a fee for someone who is out of contract? They can't hold his registration can they?

is it due to age when contract runs out I think.,. not sure it would be anything like that with a tribunal though?
