United fans, The Media and Mourinho.

United fans, The Media and Mourinho.
It's amazing reading some of the things that have been said about Mourinho this week.
From - "serial trophy winner" to "charismatic genius".
I guess you can't deny he wins trophies, his record of 22 vs 21 of Guardiola's is impressive. I guess you can also say he brings charisma to his interviews, be it for the right or wrong reasons.
I also read Jamie Carragher's article on the Mail this morning and in it, he claims Pep should be worried about Mourinho, as he won't change - referring to his time at Real Madrid and the constant goading he did at Pep. Personally, if Pep has the slightest bit of concern about Jose, then he shouldn't be at City.
Do I think he's concerned? No. I think he'll relish it and it may even bring about a more intense work ethic and brand of football to prove he's the best. Let's remember, Pep ain't no shrinking violet, he can be feisty too, not afraid to let off one or two swear words to get his point across at press conferences.
However, how little these fans and journalists remember about why Jose Mourinho is now at United.
- Eva Caniero and the way he treated her, what he said to her, what he called her. A court case still awaits....so we'll see the outcome of that.
- The players revolt at Chelsea because of his meltdown and the way he lost the dressing room when things weren't going his way.
- Tito Villanova - the ex Barcelona Manager who Mourinho gouged in the eye with his thumb, from behind like a coward.
- His FA fines and touchline bans for his behaviour.
Well Jamie, if he's not going to change, I guess we'll have to put up with his nasty attitude again for another 2/3 years.
As for United fans...here's where they once again, show themselves to be a fickle bunch. The hatred they had for Mourinho (normally associated with a player not a manager) was nothing short of acidic. I'm sure you've read and watch the hate-filled chants from the Stretford End towards him.
Then, we've read the whole "do you want him or Pep?" debate....United thought they were getting Pep, only for him to choose us. We then read the whole "Pep's a fraud, Pep's shit, we didn't want him anyway" nonsense from them. When Mourinho became their 2nd choice Manager (or even 3rd/4th..who knows who else turned them down?)....we got the "we don't want him at our club" from a large % of fans. Well, he's arrived.....and this is what we get from a typical Rag supporter (WARNING - C - WORD is in here):
So, you see United fans, he's your problem now. It'll be interesting to see what happens if he gets found guilty in the Eva Canero case, or when he spits his dummy out again, or disrespects another member of staff/player or ex player/legend.
As for Pep Guardiola being worried Jamie.....I don't think so.

I think it's hilarious... The rags are so desperate for a trophy haul that they've stooped to Jose. Yes, he'll win them a trophy or three, but what state will the club be in when he gets sacked? He's a short term manager and that's all. I'm looking forward to seeing him destroy what's left at the swamp and how bacon face reacts.

Re: United fans, The Media and Mourinho.
all the utd fans i know keep teling me that Mourinho will have to buy into the utd philosophy of promoting youth & that the club is bigger than him.
Are they really that stupid, Mourinho is Mourinho he wont change for anyone or anything. It is all about him & always will be.
If the papers are to be believed he has already told utd to go after Niguez, Greizeman & Pogba that lot if the press valuations are correct is 219 million on 3 players no mention of wages. Good to see he is intent on bringing through the youth albeit buying it from another club rather than promoting from within.
