I have missed it..
Would prefer it if it was a weekend but hey ho... 26 hours till I take my seat at the new Ethiad stadium. If Peter Fletcher and his minimum wage crew want me to sit they can f*** off.
How I have missed the premiership:cheers:

Re: I have missed it..
You couldn't sit down if you wanted to where I am in the south stand
I thought it a bit odd reducing rag tickets for persistent standing when we stand the whole game but fuck em they'll be sat down on the train to euston after

Apparently only 111(I'm in 112) are allowed to stand, despite the club selling "lets all do the Poznan" t-shirts.
Paul Peter Fletcher is in charge of security at the ground.

I'm not too arsed TBH, I did my time standing up at Maine Rd. Last time I stood up for 90 minutes was at the swamp last year, my shins were bashed to fuck on the seat in front as the seats are so close together - poxy hole that it is.

Tell me about it, Boris! I went there a few years ago to watch England play Greece, and it was like sitting in the dwarfs section. No wonder they can fit 76000 into that overextended pile of shit - we could probably fit in another 10000 if we shoved all the seats closer together.

Tell me about it - I tried to sit down at half time and I looked like Princess Anne riding a horse.
I went to all the internationals played at the swamp and sat in a different part of the ground every time. The only decent seat/view I got was in the North Stand, about 10 rows up but they were the 2nd most expensive tickets.

Re: I have missed it..
I suspect it's more of a Ryanair policy. If you've ever been on a Ryanair flight, you'll notice that you only have adequate legroom if you are less than 4 feet tall, or have no legs at all. They deliberately shove all the seats forwards so they can squeeze in another five or six rows of seats and get as many people on as possible. This is also the reason why your hand luggage can be no bigger than a matchbox and your suitcase can't weigh more than seven ounces, because otherwise the plane would be too heavy to take off.
Anyway, I digress. United use the same policy so they can squeeze in as many people as possible and therefore make as much money as possible. It's all very cynical.

I'm sure there was a 606 reply to this about designing a stadium for 80,000 people :p
