Euro Fantasy League?
First topic message reminder :
I know some may be away on holidays etc...but anyone fancy joining a Euro Fantasy League?
It can be set up on your Iphone or Android so it can be accessed any time, pretty much like the normal FF League we do each year.

Let me know...if we get 8 or more, I'm happy to set up the league and send the group link password.

Re: Euro Fantasy League?
just worked out that the 3 transfers are for the 1st round of matches. I was saving them for after the group stages!

Re: Euro Fantasy League?
but does that mean you could end up in the shit after the group stages if you haven't been paying attention to which teams may get through?
I can see how that would make some people buy the credits to keep in the competition.
Can't see any of us wasting our money on that.

No, it's not like I'll make a sub every single game.
I'll use one sub per round of games. I just thought Suisse would have battered Albania and Shaqiri had more assists in qualifying than any other player....but only read that after the France game - good job Payet got 11 points.

I thought you could use 3 subs per round of games. Not straightforward like the PL one.

Re: Euro Fantasy League?
Will soon find out just swapped a player too. Tips do say you can use the transfers to have 14 players scoring per game week? But does that mean we get another 4 changes before the 2nd group games? Not very clear?

Re: Euro Fantasy League?
Yeah, I agree. I'll see if I can find out.
I used one yesterday and have 2 left...but as you say, is that just for this round?

Re: Euro Fantasy League?
my last read on it was that you can change 3 players for each game round. I'm not sure you can change any between the group stage and the knockouts if you've used them all up. Or maybe you can!!!
I think the idea is to confuse people to wasting their subs and then having to purchase credits so as to have a chance of beating their mates. Clever.

Re: Euro Fantasy League?
Yeah...the very fact you can buy players suggests that.
I looked all over for Leagues, but this one the only one we could do at short notice.

Re: Euro Fantasy League?
Reading through it, you get 3 free transfers with an option to buy a 4th in the knockout stages.
You can use all 3 now, but you won't have any to transfer to the next round....unless you buy or earn a 4th.
As he stages go on, you can still transfer whatever free transfers you have, plus buy an additional player.
So, either use your subs now in this round, or wait and see who goes through to the next stage...or, earn or buy an additional transfer.

Re: Euro Fantasy League?
I read it as three transfers per game week, so we get three more next week, then the week after and so on.

I've just had a message from the App to say "last 2 games today, so if you have transfers, you need to use them"
So what does that tell you??

3 transfers per round. Which is why I wasted mine on Silva, Hazard and kdB.

Yeah, I put Payet in, then thought, hmmm can he be that good twice on the run, so put Coman in!! Got a decent return for Rami though - so not all lost.

It was my son's mate. He made a request at the beginning and I refused his request - it was only last night he told me!!

Only takes a few players to score decently and it'll all change.
Be better when we get to the next rounds, as there's less games, so you can concentrate on your best players.

Well, he's just scored twice this afternoon and there's still half an hour left. Can't believe this game is at 3-3, there's some really shit defending going on. And I think we'll end up playing whoever of these two wins as well.

Re: Euro Fantasy League?
Thank goodness for Payet, dragged me to some slight respectability :-)
Not paying for extra transfers so will just have to have some players that have already gone home for the semis.
