Maureen.........
I wonder if Maureen marveled at how our Kevin ran the show yesterday. I must admit - I was pretty awed how he stepped up and controlled the midfield (now that Ya Ya is out of favour). He was absolutely outstanding. Not to take away from the rest of the squad - as Otamendi and Kolarov are thriving under Pep and the ever solid Silva and Fernandinho are also doing a fantastic job. Maureen has to wonder why he didn't see the potential in Kevin - but I guess it's all water under the bridge now as he is now at the swamp.
Just read McNulty's match report - I wish they wouldn't harp on about that Rooney penalty - for me it wasn't one - but no mention of the countless iffy penalty calls that we were not awarded. Three of the match pundits, Lee Dixon, Robbie Mustoe and Kyle Martino were adamant that it was no penalty. Of course Graham Le Saux thought it was. Mug

Re: Maureen.........
Yeah, funny how he didn't talk about Fellaini's tug on Nolito in the first half....guess it's all desperation and embarrassment, how he got out-thought and out-fought by Pep and City.
I'm just watching the game again....and if it wasn't the derby....Mourinho's team played just like Stoke under Pullis...couldn't remember watching another team play so many long, high balls into the box....truly dire...and pundits would be talking about that.

Re: Maureen.........
Well it seems that "Elbows" gets away with it more often than not - he is at Old Trafford you know - and not Goodison.

Re: Maureen.........
seems as though twattenberg needs to watch how Mike Dean refs a game.

Re: Maureen.........
I see Mariner's eye sight was failing him again on Sunday, how could he miss such an obvious foul? He should be relegated.
