Probably more than installing a few more turnstiles.

Why would we need more turnstiles? I thought we're the Emptyhad!

Re: City's new glass tunnel
I can see it's not just me moaning about the queues. Now we're stuck with using gate P for getting into the South Stand (even though gate M2 directly faces my block, has no queue, but I still can't use it?) the queues are horrendous. Surely a few more turnstiles wouldn't hurt?

Ring the club and complain. Until many do the same, they may not do anything about it.

Re: City's new glass tunnel
Yeah, they should sort the turnstile issue out...but those moaning on the MEN article, about the new suite, is a little harsh. The seats in the stadium don't change, they're just trying to offer a new 21st Century experience behind the scenes - and if that brings in more publicity, sponsorship and revenue for the club, why complain?
As one said - City already have one of the cheapest season tickets compared to the other 'big' clubs....
If I had £30k spare - it's how I'd do it with my family.

The queues for the Bucharest game were a piss take. And they probably only had a couple of thousand fans there. Only just made it in time. Lots of complaints from plenty of fans about the queues. Surely something must be done about it. If your block is next to a small queue, and yours is massive, why can't they let you switch queues?

And that wasn't the worst one, either. The Everton game was horrendous, as was Southampton. Not even the biggest of games, but I couldn't get in before kick-off for either.Topdawg wrote:The queues for the Bucharest game were a piss take. Re: City's new glass tunnel
I remember getting messages asking me to turn up maybe one hour before kick off. I used to turn up early with the kids (but not an hour) and, if I'm on my own, I turn up as late as possible.

Yeah, I'm usually cutting it a bit fine myself, but I was forty minutes early for Southampton and still couldn't get in on time. Crazy.

This is the reply I got back:
Many thanks for your email.
Due to entrance sizes, along with safety and security purposes and the club must ensure that the number of ingress and egress of supporters does not exceed a certain limit. All supporters who are located in blocks 116 and around to 123 are only able to enter the stadium via entrance P. I do understand and sympathise with you regarding the queues but we advise all supporters to arrive to the stadium within plenty of time.
Unfortunately we are unable to make any entrance changes to supporters Seasoncards. I will however pass your feedback over to our stadium facilities team as all feedback is important to ourselves.
In other words, blah blah generic reply...

Yep. To reply so quickly it has to be and they've obviously had the complaint before. Getting there 40 minutes early and still not getting in on time ain't right

Send them this:
Dear MCFC......
At no point was this explained on my season ticket when I renewed it, nor is this in the terms and conditions. Therefore, unless you amend your T&C's or open more Etihad turnstiles to allow us to attend the game in a 'reasonable' time to view the game we've paid for, I shall be left with no alternative, but to complain to the Premier League and The Daily Mail, The Mirror, The Telegraph, The Guardian, The Sun and The Daily Star's Chief Football Correspondents to highlight this unfortunate issue.
I trust this will be resolved in due course.
