I've always thought he was a decent player - but given little opportunities by Wenger. He's only 27, English as well.

I really thought a few years ago, he could be the next Ashley Cole. Laughing

But he can't get into the arsenal team. If he was our back up to a top LB, then that would be ok. But he wouldn't want to be a back up.

He is also very injury prone & given our track record with long term crocks I would steer well clear.

He's not up and coming, he's already near his peak and not playing.

But who is out there that is good enough and would come to us?

He's missed 15 games in 3 years through injury.

Gael Clichy has missed 18 games in the same period.

Kolorov 14 games missed.

really? he must have been dropped for most of last season & the first part of this season then as he doesn't feature very regularly. Last season Monreal was the prime left back & again this season.
