Julian Weigl...another MF player!

He only signed a 5 year contract at Dortmund last week & they said they had no intention of selling him given the clear out they had in the summer. That means an astronomical fee to prize him away. I can understand us looking at a younger midfield player given the age of Toure. Fernando maybe kept on as a squad player but although I rate him I feel he will never be given a permanent run in the 1st team. Delph will also be off in the summer which if Clichy goes as well will leave us short of home growns add Joe to that list. Instead of weigl I would be looking at Barkley of Everton home grown young & Koeman obviously doesn't rate. Could get him at a better price than weigl & would fulfill part of the criterion of home growns. Promote Gunn & that is 2 voids filled.
