Still Waiting

to wear my boots and a sweater - it was 90 deg. today January 1st and no sign of winter.  Despicable Me and the rest of the Republicans say that global warming is something the Chinese made up.  Been a drought for the last 120 days too.  Even the trees are now blossoming - shouldn't be in bloom until Spring.  Ridiculous.

I wouldn't be complaining Wensdi as when winter comes I for one get dead depressed, unless i was in a ski resort ( fat chance ) last time was 1995. Currently basking in 39c heat.

Going to the Hopman cup tennis tonight GB v Switzerland to see our all time idol Roger Federer in action. All his sessions sold out. He arranged for the event organizers to throw open the doors to his training session as his matches had sold out, 6000 turned up to watch. Got my wife wheelchair accessible seats so plenty of room for her after her surgery just before xmas. Going again for the Thursday evening session & Friday evening. Don't think GB will do too well with Heather Watson & Dan Evans representing us.

flippin eck oz, you get miles better weather than here and you get depressed over your comparatively mild winter?

Normally winter depresses me every year but this year was weird Winter started in June & by the end of November we were still getting a lot of rain & days of 15 degrees. Nights of 1 to 3 Celsius which for us in October / Nov is very strange.

Happy New Year to all you Blues.  Hope you and your wife enjoyed Federer - Oz - what a guy.  We all seem to be complaining about weather all over the globe.  Couldn't be global warming could it?  Could somebody tell Despicable Me that he's a prize chump please!!

Federer was Brilliant really enjoyed the evening get to see him again on Thursday evening Switzerland v France. Thought GB pair played really well surpassed my expectations of them although they lost all 3 matches Men's & Ladies singles & Mixed Doubles neither disgraced themselves & played very well. Wife had bandages off today and most of the stitches out approx 80 & counting all healing well bar the thumb so had to have that one re bandaged.
