Will Pep extend his contract to 5 years?
According to The Sun's Martin Blackburn, Pep loves the Manchester vibe, his kids have settled into school well, his wife loves the City and Pep feels as though it may take him a little longer than expected to turn City into a European giant.
Sheikh Mansour has told him that he'll be backed to the hilt.
With the likes of Bony, Nasri, Mangala and Hart set to be sold in the summer, that will free up another £1m per week in wages. Add to this the likes of the defenders and TLMLF, and City will have some serious cash to spend in the summer.

I hope he does extend. We've got serious money to spend regardless of who we sell and what wages we save. Getting CL again will only increase our spending power. I said last summer that we could spend up to £500M on players if we wanted to. We can again this summer and the wages saved from leaving players will cover Messi's salary.

I guess one good thing from the indifferent start is he now wants to prove something, hence the 5 year plan now. I'm more than happy for him to turn it around.

That's a good point, actually. All the press nonsense, the Fraudiola, the fact we're not walking it already means there's a challenge and this statement, if true, means he's up for it. Good, I don't want another Steve Coppell "Uh, it's too hard" type manager.

I actually heard someone on TS last night, saying that Pep's recent interviews have shown that the PL is too hard for him and he'll quit before the end of the season.....and he was a reporter!!!
FFS!, some people are simply delusional.
