Man found dead on Saddleworth Moor finally named after 13 months

I've followed this story in the MEN and on radio 4 over the last year. He was finally named today.

What a waste of Police time and money.

If he intended to kill himself, the least he could have done was a leave a bloody note behind. 13 months of several officers time which could have been served better to fight the untold number of crimes in the Rochdale/Oldham area. Rolling Eyes

I even think some of the officers may have gone to Pakistan. It's a bonkers story, though I'd never looked at it from the angle you suggested bluey.
