... to mention Utd beat Chelsea.  Haven't seen any posts and I was gobsmacked that they put 2 past Chelsea.  Have I breached any rules by bringing this up? Very Happy

not taboo wensdi just lowers the tone of the whole forum though. Some of us talk shit on here not about it.On a good note the seagulls are in the premier division, for 1 season at least brilliant......

nice to see a bit of humour. On another note just saw Patrick Roberts goal this weekend for Celtic v Ross County that was some bit of skill not one but 2 nutmegs. 1 obviously intentional the second fortuitous but great to watch

Yeah will be only the 2nd time in their 130 year history & looks like Newcastle will be back & so will a familar manager.

What annoys me is the fawning media hailing the maoning ones "tactical masterclass" no one said that when Cyrstal palace beat them.

Not to mention that it was an away game for Cyrstal palace & a home game for the rags Mad

SB the media were all over Mourinho's masterclass not Conte. Palace beat Chelsea away.

I remember it well the last time the seagulls were in the 1st division  81/82 season & 82/83. Lost to Uniturd in the cup replay 4-0 & I broke my ankle watching that game at Wembley. Miserable night all round. Got relegated that season & it was City's 1-0 win at the Goldstone ground which effectively confirmed their relegation. They have certainly been through the mire since but seem to be right on the up now. Fantastic new stadium & good solid support & a chairman that has the clubs interest at heart.

"SB the media were all over Mourinho's masterclass not Conte. Palace beat Chelsea away." Yes thats what I said by the maoning one I meant Mourinho. Well the rags have what they deserve in the end probably the most toxic manager in world football.

Speaking of Palace I think it's time Fat Sam got some credit. I know he didn't exactly cover himself with glory during his ill fated stint with England, but the recent run he has put together is something else. Looks like he will keep yet another team up (and probably be fired mid way next season only to start the whole thing all over again) Obviously wouldn't want him anywhere near City, but I've gotta say I admire what he has achieved with limited resources.

He's a funny one really. Seems to thrive when under the cosh but when he has a team safe they seem to go off the rails a bit. Look at when he was at Newcastle? the fans were chanting you don't know what your doing as he was playing players out of position & ended up paying the price after a 2-0 home defeat to city. Then with west Ham he got them promoted but the fans soon turned on him especially after the way we humbled them over 2 legs in the league cup final. But as you say credit where its due I watched their game v Leicester last weekend & they were 2 down but were far the better side. Leicester had 2 shots on goal & scored twice. Palace were all over them in the end they got back to 2-2 but if you hadn't seen the game then that result was probably very predictable, However it didn't paint a true reflection of the match.
