Kudos on the club for putting a WR bid on for the lad as he certainly looks the business and we are showing that we mean business.

Now, in all honesty, I can see him either staying an extra year with Monaco or going to Madrid if they really really want him and he badly wants to go there.

So, we've shown our hand that we are willing to spend top dollar to get the top players. Do you think we'd move on to another player that is valued in the stratosphere? Or is Mbappe such a talent that we were prepared to buy him and shove someone else out of the team/squad?

Would we go for another marquee signing? Who would/could that be?

Can only see the likes of Mbappe going for that kind of money...

The only others out there close to the £70-100m marker, would be the likes of Griezmann, Dybala, Morata....
