Is Patrick Roberts loan to Soton, the makeweight for VVD?

Post by blueboy on Wed Jul 19, 2017 10:13 am

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4709030/Southampton-want-Manchester-City-s-Patrick-Roberts-loan.html

Southampton are trying to sign Patrick Roberts on loan from Manchester City.
Mauricio Pellegrino wants to bolster his side's attack and will ask Pep Guardiola if Roberts is in his plans.
The City boss wants to see how he fares in pre-season before making a decision on whether the 20-year-old can go out on loan again after a successful spell at Celtic last year.

Doubt it. Noises are VVD only wants to go to Liverpool. Let's face it, at Liverpool he'll be there for a few years as they can't really afford another CB if he has a tough season. Louvred has stuck around for this very reason. At city. If he's crap, someone ear will be bought on his place

Liverpool have well and truly got him tapped up to the nines...

and he means if he has a crap start he will get time at Liverpool to settle, unlike here we buy another every year

could be used in negotiations for Bertrand also? Would be a good move for City if he is not in our plans this season, to see how he cuts it on loan with a top 10 English premier league team.
