Challengers for the title

Challengers for the title
it’s heady days for us. We’re playing some great football and brushing teams aside. Even a tough day yesterday, we scored 3 and could have had 6.
United are at the level they have been this season. Tonking most smaller teams and running scared of better teams. And yesterday’s Huddersfield blip means we are 5 points ahead of them now.
Chelsea are 9 points off us but could put a decent run together. They have it in them and they have the players. But there is some discontent in their squad and they’ve been lucky to win a couple of their games otherwise they could be 12-15 points behind us.
I think Spurs are our biggest challengers right now. May change after their game today though

Re: Challengers for the title
Agree Spuds could be our main challenge
.Hopefully Wembley wil remain their Achilles heel
Uniturd will be up there as they will win most at home and park the bus for a point in their more difficult games
Chelsea are struggling with injuries & are realising that it was much easier last season with far fewer games to play
The number of games for some our lads are beginning to mount up too so Pep really does need to give the likes of KdB & Silva the odd game off
Although not as good yet Gundogan & Bernardo can fill in nicely

We should be resting several of our essential players this week. Aguero should start, as should Sterling, Bernardo, Danilo and, hopefully at least one kid

Re: Challengers for the title
My feeling about the title race not changed much since the start of the seasons the rags have only won against teams outside the top 6 & struggled against Southampton & now lost to newly prompted Huddersfield. Once they have conceded they have no plan to gear up the attack as the moaning one his drilled in his defence first philosophy into them. Look at his post match interview its everyone's fault, but his. Would any other manager throw his own team under the bus like that? Chelsea is still a very good team with a talented manager, but I don't think they have the squad depth to compete both in the Pl & CL so will fall short. Spurs might have run it closer if it wasn't for home form. I think Arsenal will put together a late season run & just about scrape 4th place. Klopp is a good manager, but his tactics are a bit one dimensional with no plan B & his style of play burns out his players quickly & he can't keep it going for a full a full season.
