City vs The Arsenal
Big game on Sunday. Every game is a must win in my book. Arsenal have been decidedly wobbly away from home. They’ve managed to rest their first team this week whilst we only rested Walker, Spanish Dave and Jesus. But Sane, Sterling, Stones are young so I’m not at all worried by our overall fitness levels.
I’d like to invite Arsenal on to us so that we can kill them in the break. They aren’t the fastest of teams at the back and Ozil could be a liability for them defensively if he plays.
I’d go for the same team as normal with Jesus instead of Aguero

Think Id rather have Aguero up front. Maybe have Jesus up front as well & Raheem on the bench for starters & see how it goes. Other than that the usual 1st team

Re: City vs The Arsenal
They have a good record against us so hope this doesn't end up being a banana skin moment. In our current form we could beat anyone, but will we have more tired legs come Sunday? If we score early then I think we will destroy them because at the end of the day they have zero back bone.

Re: City vs The Arsenal
Arsenal would need to sit deep and narrow, then play on the counter to get any joy but I don't think they are playing well enough as an actual team to work hard enough for one another to nullify City
I suspect we will start
Ederson
Walker Stones Otamendi Delph
Fernandinho
Sane DeBruyne Silva Sterling
Aguero

Re: City vs The Arsenal
Arsenal really should be taken to the cleaners today. They aren’t solid enough and disciplined enough to sit deep. They aren’t good enough to take the game to us as we’ll break at pace and kill them. I really don’t know what they can do to prevent a defeat.

Gotta think that is our strongest team. Looks like Arse coming for the draw then.

Funny I thought he was going to go for Jesus up front , glad he went with Aguero as he will be really up for this the perfect big game player. Now thats a strong bench (Mangala aside) one of the big differences from last season.

Re: City vs The Arsenal
We need to isolate Kolasinic...as he likes to drift inside, so hopefully, KDB and Silva may be able to exploit this with Sterling's pace.
Walker could play a massive part today for me....hopefully, going forward!

Very difficult shot with very little of the goal to aim for.

Arse are a threat going forward, but we really should be 4-0 up

How are we not 3-0 up here???
Sterling....guilty of 2 golden opportunities.
Sane....well off the pace today.

Re: City vs The Arsenal
D.Silva has been a bit off the pace too lots of over hit passes, very unlike him. Think Pep will be having some words at halftime. I would get Jesus on & Sterling or Sane off.
