Twitter spat....

If you're on Twitter...a war of words has broken out between Daniel Taylor of The Guardian (who broke the Bennell story) and Stu Brennan of the MEN.

Taylors being a bit of cock really, all high and mighty, calling out Brennan for not going to the trial of Bennell and not writing a piece on it. I get his point, but Brennan covers Man City and is held by what his Editor tells him to cover. Taylor sounds like a bit of a cock if I'm honest. 

I've chipped in a few times, trying to ask for some objectivity (yeah, me)...and for it not to become personal (yeah, me)...but Taylor;s not having it. Even Paul Lake chipped in earlier in the month to the original thread to back up Brennan.

Used to like Taylor....and tbf, he's done a great job on the Bennell case, but the notoriety and awards he's had lately, seemed to have turned him into a right bellend!

i said, a couple of weeks back, that I would have resigned from the MEN if they hadn't covered the story properly. Stu's situation is probably very different from mine and it's very easy for me to say that. If I was actually win his shoes, and living his life, I may we'll have done something different to what I was proposing.

But Taylor was really having a go at Stu and went too far. You're right, he's sounding like a cock.

I've tried to stay out of it tonight because I don't need Taylor wrongly laying into me and have some twitter dickhead come looking for me. Unlikely, but it may happen.
