Leicester v City
Must win game. We've got to get on a run and get to the semis. With the teams that are left, we can beat any of them over two legs.
Ederson
Walker, Stones, Laporte, Delph
Gundogan
KdB, Foden
Sterling, Jesus, Sane

Be surprised to see Stones and Laporte too. Both carrying knocks, aren’t they?

I've just put our best team out whilst reading Dino and Bernardo.

It’s about this time of year Vinnie gets a start and limps off after 10 mins isn’t it?

From MEN: “several first team players were not spotted at Piccadilly Station. They include Danilo, John Stones, Aymeric Laporte, Bernardo and David Silva, Fernandinho and Leroy Sane, but there is every chance these players travelled separately.”

Guessing that Stones will be DM? Looks fairly strong with a decent bench.

Yes according to Sam Lee he’s in midfield

Re: Leicester v City
Kev started brightly and scored a cracker but since then he has barely been in the game. I think his lack of match fitness is showing, can’t see him playing much of the second half.

Dominating the ball as usual, with not enough to show for it. Gray looks like their only real threat. If we can get a second I’d fancy a third soon after.

FFS. Complete control to hanging on a bit, so annoying.

Possibly the worst penalty shootout ever. Well done Zinky!

Fair play to Muric & also Zinky who made up for his error leading to the goal.

Re: Leicester v City
Glass half full view, we won, Aguero and KDB got valuable game time and 3 young lads got some competitive first team football, did I mention we won?

I thought that, too. Luckily Leicester were as awful at taking pens as the rags were against Sunderland, so we didn't need him. Not sure why Raz thought a panenka was a good idea, though.Strange Blue wrote:Marhrez to miss in the penalty shootout, it’s written in stone

Re: Leicester v City
when Sterling missed, I thought the ref should have booked their keeper for his reaction. unsporting behaviour to be honest.
The lino on the far side would have been down to take Leicester's 5th pen )

Sorry Dan, I completely disagree. Sterling tried to take the piss and fluffed it....got the reaction it deserved. Luckily for him, we got through, as i dread to think what the papers would have been saying if we'd lost.Moonchester wrote:when Sterling missed, I thought the ref should have booked their keeper for his reaction. unsporting behaviour to be honest.

Re: Leicester v City
I agree Den, had the same discussion elsewhere, if i had been the keeper i would have given it large to Stirling too for trying to be a smart ass and falling flat on his face.shakencity wrote:Sorry Dan, I completely disagree.
