Re: Bloody Rubbish
I’m already putting this down as a transitional season after this summer’s transfers.
Not going to moan though, because then I’d sound like a scouser!

If you look at who we have lost and who we brought in there is no surprise we are rubbish

Re: Bloody Rubbish
Doku has looked fantastic when fit.
Nunes had a good game v Red Star & the Jap team
Kovacic also did well v the Japs but I honestly don’t think he’s good enough. I think a few others have looked disappointing in recent weeks. Guardiol has been poor but is being played out of position. Dias has looked unusually shaky. Jack whilst he has scored a few goals doesn’t get past his man often enough for me and then he ends up slowing the game down by passing it back to our defence when we were in a good attacking position. Alvarez hasn’t been great either. It’ll be great when we get Haaland, KdB, Doku & Stones all back and fully fit.

Re: Bloody Rubbish
Thing is its ok getting them back its another thing getting them up to the pace of the game whilst trying to regain fitness levels but ensuring no recurrence of the injury. i do hope we delve into the transfer market this January for a genuine left back and cover for Rodri. if Phillips is never going to cut it with city then sell while his stock is still quite high. everyone keeps going on about us going on these runs after xmas but with this squad i cant see who can step up to the plate like say Gundogan did in the past or Mahrez the year before last.
