Sergio is out for up to a month.Jesus is out for another 2-3 weeks.
How about sticking young Nmecha up there for a few games?
Nothing to lose against Marseille certainly & hes been knocking them in for the EDS

It’s poor management. We had no cover for Vinnie, just as we have no cover for Sergio.
We could all see this was a potential problem.

I still don't understand how the management team can't see what we see: that we can't rely on Serge to stay fit.  This has been going on for years now.  Why are they not seeing what we see?  Utter madness.

Should have got Kane pre season or even Haaland....sending Mahrez on his way, to part fund the deal.

Serge is injury prone and having Jesus as back up was simply never gonna be enough.

Stones and Garcia should have been moved on too.

Pep said in his last interview that the management were looking at getting another striker but the prices for a Sergio equivalent were too much. We should have just stumped up £20 or £30 million for a Troy Deeney, Calum Wilson or Danny Ings type. Although Torres looks like he could be a good buy, a MF player wasn’t a priority.

I said a few weeks ago, and I stick by it, that we should’ve brought Edin back. Even at 34 he would’ve been the perfect back up for this season.

I agree we don't need back up - we need someone to replace Sergio and he should be the back up. Or at least this season he could have shared the striker duties.

Fair point, but unfortunately we seem obsessed with buying midfield players for some reason.
