Off to a flyer

Well, I personally never saw that coming.
As of previous seasons, I thought we'd start a tad weaker than we did and be a bit slower all over the pitch. I guess I shouldn't doubt Peps ability to get them up and ready for the 1st game should I.
Apart from the odd 5 minutes here and there, we dominated throughout and looked pretty comfortable.
Rico and Kova stood out for me. Silvinho looked very good too, as did Doku in parts - still needs to work on his end product.
Overall, an excellent start against a team that will definitely take points off our title contenders at their place.
On to Ipswich at the Emptihad next week.

I hope Rico is given a proper run in the team
He was exceptional yesterday and deserves a few starts to give him the chance to cement a place

Unfortunately missed the game yesterday due to a bloody airport run, but was pleasantly surprised by the result.
I can’t believe how every season the squad looks stronger than ever despite players leaving.

Walker needs to be put out to pasture now. Rico is the future (and was two years ago).
