Probably. There's no chance it'll be extended to 3.

He will get a fine and warned about his future conduct with a 2 game ban suspended for 12 months.

Re: Rooney and the FA.
As i put on another thread i think he will get off completely, we usually see rags get suspended fines and bans (how long has baconface had his ban coming). The FA are very good at bowing down to them, chuckle bro no.1 said pretty much the same thing directly too the scouse fans and fuck all was done. lets hope Bernstein stands firm and has the courage to uphold the ban. not confident he will though, lawyers are good at finding the 'loopholes' when it comes too the 'rules'.

I think the fa are sick to death of the power the rags have and are trying to do something about it.Baconface has done himself no favours with the BBC boycott and I think the 2 game ban will be upheld

Re: Rooney and the FA.
This 'admitting the charge but appealing the ban' mularky makes me think they've struck some sort of deal.

Decent article.
I just don't see how, after all the articles published in the press over the past week, that the FA could possibly go back on what they said.
Comparing the Drogba ban by UEFA - 6 matches! Rooney will be lucky not to get a 4 match ban after his appeal.

There not going to tell us 'til tommorrow so as not to distract United tonight. If I was Fergie then I'd want to know ASAP, I reckon they've told United and it's in their favour. They don't want to announce it as it'll stir up the Chelsea fans in light of Drogba's ban.
Re: Rooney and the FA.
He'll get a 1 match ban & a severe final final final warning like the ones the vile Chuckle brother got about 10 times !

Well fuck me sideways and call me Doris, the FA have finally grown a pair and upheld the horrible Scouse twats ban.
Seeing as he has just hit a bit of form, no bad thing.

Re: Rooney and the FA.
All we need now is Scholes to get carded on Saturday then our other Nemesis is out too. Can't see Fergie playing him though as he's on 9 yellows.
Re: Rooney and the FA.
Keep that little shit up front quiet in the semi and they won't score.......it's that easy.
Even the Rag fans at my work can't believe they've upheld the decision.lol

Re: Rooney and the FA.
I am surprised but I think the FA have just had enough of Man United. Purple nose & Rooney are on the FAs radar far too often. Before that it was the prick Neville, Pug, the animal Keane, Cantona.....the list goes on & on
Really good news for us though as Rooney has been on good form the last 2 or 3 weeks

Re: Rooney and the FA.
Now the FA has a strong head in David Bernstein, the monopoly over the fa from the rags is coming to an end.
Rooney is in the best form he's been in for ages and it's a massive boost for us that he's not playing.Just mard arse,Ginger cunt and giggs to sort out now.
