After last nights result in Madrid, i can't see Spurs maintaining a challenge for a top 4 place. They are picking up far to many injuries and the after the manor of defeat last night, it surely must of demoralised them beyond repair.
I seriously believe we can push for 2nd, a win at Anfield on Monday will give us the added impetus to crack on and with our remaining fixtures i think we have a good chance, i think the other teams around us will drop points.
Finish 2nd in the league and a FA cup in the bag?? Yes please!

The Spuds on 606 are ace "If we can beat Milan and Inter then we can easily win away at City, Chelsea and Liverpool". Let's hope their players are equally deluded and carry on the rich vein of form they're in.

Inky, the fact for all their "free flowing, attacking football" (C), they can't score for toffee and they are fucked.

Morning chaps
So....Lurch is sent off during a CL match.....does that mean he's suspended from the Premier League or will his suspension only apply to the next CL game?
Hope he misses the next few Premier League matches and they start to spiral out of control. Not that he's any good IMO but they seem to love the lanky streak of shite.

Ban only covers CL games so he'll never serve it

I'm not looking past the Liverpool game. A win there would mean we have one foot well and truly in the door, the Scousers would be more or less out of it and what Spuds do is of no consequence.

Best chance ever to hammer them at anfield, without Gerrard we are stronger in every area.
Couldn't believe the price of my Liverpool ticket £46,so the whole of anfield rd stand should be on sale for the same and I can't see the bindippers paying that.
A giro can only stretch so far

No excuses now, we have to chase 2nd and hope Arse do the usual bottle job, Chel get distracted with a continued Ch lg run and Spuds implode after that demoralising result.

Far from over yet with games against the likes of Liverpool, Spurs and our seemingly bogey side, Everton to come but it's beginning to look promising.

I agree, we shouldn't be getting too cocky yet (This is City we're talking about). We've just got to equal or better Spuds' results from now until when we play them.
