Cheap £1million, good experience, not exactly doing a Carroll is it? what have we got to lose? with Ivory Coast still looking to go all the way in the ACON I think it's good to get some more cover and experience in the midfield, what happens if Barry gets injured tonight?

He could be another Vieira. He rarely put a foot wrong for us when he played. Plus Bob knows him, so it's another friendly face which will help.
