Would you go with Nasri at Stoke?
After his admirable performance last night, would you go with Nasri against Stoke? Can he show us two stellar performces back to back or would you rather have Milner's industry?

Re: Would you go with Nasri at Stoke?
I think, after his MOM performance last night (even though yay was given it in the stadium) he should definitely start it will be good for his confidence and will encourage him to put in the same level of effort and skill, some of his first touches (along with Aguero's) last night were truly sublime. I do feel a bit sorry for JM but he's an ace in the hole if we need someone to come on that we know is going to graft. So swap Nasri for Milner and I think that will do it. I just hope we only take the confidence from last night and not any complacency - it's going to be a tough match at the Britannia but we have 9 "cup finals" left and need to produce the same levels of commitment and desire as we did last night in all of them. If we do that then I can see us winning all of them.

I'd swap Nasri for Silva and keep Milner on. We need Milner's strength against Stoke and Silva desperately needs a break.

Not a bad shout Leo - the golden Silva could do with, and deserves, a couple of matches rest for his ankle, then come back for the last 5 or 6 matches playing as he did at the start of the season.
Yeah, let's go with that.......................

Good team shaken if only we could play with twelve men! Take silva off and you have a team.

Shushhhh, no-one'll notice .
No, i'm keeping Silva. Milner out then, Nasri over to the right and Silva on the left.....easy.

Go for Shakens team minus Silva, and agree with comments about taking silva out of the side for a game.
Hopefully last night has instilled some belief in the players, I'm pretty sure I heard Mancini say 'something has changed' in the dressing room following the win on the way home, although I could just be dreaming.
Rest Silva, let Nasri have the lead creative role.

I guess it's not up to us, but if it was, Shaken, I think you've been overruled.

Oh, we both know who's right, Shaken. There's no way Bob's going to drop Silva. But I still think we've overplayed him and I worry he's going to end up suffering for it.

This is a bit of a test for Mancini if you ask me, if it were Balotelli, Dzeko, AJ, Nasri who had had the form Silva has for the past couple of weeks then you can bet your life they wouldn't start against Stoke at weekend - no one should be undropable, and hopefully Mancini will treat Silva as he does the rest of the squad. Taking him out for a game really could be the best thing for him.

Particularly with Milner gasping for a game.

Re: Would you go with Nasri at Stoke?
No way you can't after his performance last night. However, Shaken will disagree, but a rest for Silva is a must IMO - so i'd bring in Milner alongside NDJ/Barry and push Yaya further forward - and replace Balotelli with Dzeko for height and effort.

Just realised I fielded 12 in my second doh! Take out one of NDJ, Barry and Yaya from that one then.

Like many, I'm concerned at Silva's poor form of late (poor for him that is, he's still a good player!) and I'd prob play Milner instead, for a game against a physical Stoke, we don't want Silva getting crock if we can rest him, and Milner will be chomping at the bit to get on the pitch, he offers the 100% effort needed for a game away from home.
Now that Vinny will hopefully be fit, it will free up Yaya to operate where he is at his most dangerous, their box, not ours! and with Silva rested, his creativity will be needed to break down Stoke.
There will be a renewed sense of confidence about City hopefully, after 2 comebacks, (which usually isn't our style, so that bodes well) and with Tevez sitting on the bench to come on with 30mins to go for the next few games, Dzeko and Aguero will not want it to be them, so they will hopefully be that much keener to impress.
2-0 to City
