We're not allowed to have the "M" postcode for Manchester as a valid point leo. On a previous post i said i was born in Radcliffe, which has an M26 post code......all my post ended Radcliffe, Manchester. This was shot down by ONH, as Radcliffe wasn't directly on the outskirts (or something like that).

By the way if you live in Duckinfield you will/might know a pub called "the Old General", there football team got beat in a final last night 3-0 at Ashton Utds ground by a pub team from M40 which one of my lads plays for.

I do know M40, as it happens. My dad lived in Moston for a good while. My grandparents lived in Collyhurst and I've an aunt who lives in New Moston (albeit only just, on Lightbowne Road). None of the properties in question have a permit scheme for event days. But then none of them has a clear line of sight to the ground either.

In fact, I'm hard pressed to think of anywhere within the M40 area that actually has that good a view of the ground. Are you using a telescope, by any chance? Or do you live on Bradford Road?

Nah, not really. I rarely go out to drink, the General is local insofar as it's the nearest to my house. I prefer to go to the Astley, it's less full of pissed up kids.
