Fulham...could be difficult
I think Hughes will be out to try and prove a point, and gain one looking at their current level. They wont have forgotten the leason we gave them at craven cottage and we seem a tad short of players. I think we will field an ultra defensive forward line of Tevez, dzeko, Balotelli and Silva and hope for a breakaway goal.
On point though is I hope that the players Hughes bought go and shake his hand again, gestures like that are rare in football and a little sporting respect is all for the good

Re: Fulham...could be difficult
Even with all of our injuries, we should still have too much for Fulham. However, we desperately need NDJ back, as most of our poor performances in the league this season have coincided with his absence.
Can see Sparky setting them up in a defensive 4-5-1 and invite us to break them down. Hopefully we can.
If we score early, we'll win by a big margin.
Score first, but late on, we win 1-0
Concede first, and we'll get nothing.

Tbf, Fulham have improved recently, will be a tough game with us edging it 2 - 1.

Re: Fulham...could be difficult
Fulham have conceded the fewest away goals in the league (jointly with city and Chelsea) which makes me think they must play very differently away than the fairly open style we saw at the cottage
I suspect to attack the flanks and get quality balls into djecko and lazy petulant bastard will be the way to go so I hope we find a way to fit sweep in as we can be a bit slow and ponderous at times which is too easy to defend against
Let's hope for poznans around the ground again

There is no way we will get the same amount of space that we had at Fulham. Hughes may be tactically inept but he isn't stupid so I expect a lot of close marking & little space.
Will be a close one I reckon but we should have enough to scrape a win as long as the lads aren't too fucked after last night's exertions

3-0 IMO again......as long as Mancini goes for the same attacking line-up....Tevez cannot be that ineffective two games in a row!
Hughes will know how we will set up, but that really doesn't matter when you pit two teams against each other - it all depends on the home team.
Let's face it guys, if we deserve a top 4 spot...this game shouldn't worry us. If we are at a point whereby we are unsure of whether we deserve a top 4 spot - then it should.
Its all about mentality.
NO Zamora........we may have NDJ back and Kompany..........with our forward 3...they will have their work cut out.
Onwards fellas............Europa League final, FA Cup and Top 4 finish...........we have to believe.........surely??????

Third is there for the taking IMO
We've played arsenal and the rags home and away so Liverpool and Chelsea away look the only really tricky ones but I think we can get something at both games.I think we'll beat fulham 2-0 as our need is far greater than theirs and that matters a lot from here on in
