Can't say a right lot here blue, as i can't remember the last film i saw......don't get time;). Nearly saw Nativity 2 on Sunday but sent the wife at the last minute with the little um instead.
Skyfall and Argo have been highly recommended to me, so i'll make a conserted effort to go and see them.

No need to go to the cinema - some of the films I've posted I've never seen there:

Couple of sites for free! Great when you are stuck away in a hotel at home or overseas - especially when the local TV is in Arabic!
..............................................................................................
Added some direct links above - if you have a Smart TV - RealPlayer downloaded on your PC - grab it, shove it on a memory stick then plug it into your flat screen..........Friday Night at the Flix...but at home (and some soppy film at the cinema will save you the expense...and impress the missus...cuddle up on the sofa, bit of "One Day"...she'll love ya forever!)

Re: Best Films of 2012 So Far?
Is the Bourne Legacy worth a watch BB?
If you're a Taken fan, don't watch the new one. Or, if like me you have a bit of a man crush on Neeson it may be worth an hour of your time.

Hi ALL BLUES.......I've tried to post a few links to films to keep you and your loved ones happy over Xmas. If you have a memory stick and a TV that lets you play them....happy days, download em and play away.....if not, a laptop will keep the young-uns out of your hair for a few hours whilst making Xmas dinner - some films though for adults. Happy Xmas.

1) End of Watch - Thought it started off well, but ended with the non white person dying cliche
2) Skyfall -Great movie, the way Bond should be
3) Safe House- not seen
4) Ted - not seen yet
http://www.nowvideo.eu/video/4db0f14d4364f
5) Prometheus - Massive Alien fan, saw it at midnight screening on 1st day of release, enjoyed it, but thought it deserved a longer cut with more character narrative/development, Kingdom of Heaven, another Scott film was so-so in theatrical cut, directors cut however, is brilliant, one of my favourite epics
6) The Bourne Legacy - good effort, enjoyed it, be interesting to see if there's another
7) Argo - Another good film, can't really fault it!
http://www.vidxden.com/unm24189wza3
The Grey - not what was expected, and all the better for it, no man vs wilderness, man win and happy ending, but a battle of will and the perseverance of the human spirit, Neeson gives a great performance.
9) Cloud Atlas - not seen ( read the book a few years ago, will fill you in once it'd finished downloading!!!)
10) Man on a Ledge - not seen
11) The Sweeney - not seen
having a 3 year old means I don't go to the cinema much, but I tend to pick up Blu-rays or watch Love film on my ipad.
I did however get to see The Master, while I enjoyed Magnolia, and There will Be Blood, the Master was a tad too enigmatic for me to truly latch onto it and take it to heart, great performances from the leads, but one for the Media Film studies students to dissect and essay on to the cows come home...
Dark Night Rises, I've just seen on Blu-ray, although not as critically received as others in the trilogy, thought it was a fine way to wrap up the series
The Raid, great action packed movie, as a one man martial arts machine takes on a whole block, great stunts and very kinetic, just ho I like my action films!
Dredd, a similar themed movie to the Raid, but at last, a decent attempt at a Dredd movie, low budget compared to other Hollywood style bollockbusters, but I think it was a UK made one from the DNA team who brought us Sunshine, 28 days/weeks. There's plenty of ultraviolence, a concise and to the point script which doesn't stray far from a day in the life of a Mega City Judge, and much like the Matrix, it isn't weighed down by any loftier concerns outside the confines of the central characters, back story, mythologies etc... how a squel will perform will be interesting ( yes I grew up on 2000AD, does it show?!!!!)
Looper - enjoyable intelligent sci-fi, Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt give good performances.

Re: Best Films of 2012 So Far?
I probably should've read this topic sooner, looks like some good films on there. But I don't go to those download forums as the links get broken far too quickly and I'm not a big fan of HTTP based downloads of big files as they're too easy to trace.
So I've got me a server running uTorrent and Peerblock 24/7 and I bag all my films from Isohunt. I usually look for Jaybob as theirs are the best quality. And being torrents, they don't go down unless everyone stops seeding.
If anyone asks, you ain't seen me

Django Unchained....absolutely brilliant. Give it a watch. Tarantino does it again.
I watched a film called Compliance last night. It's a bit disturbing, but based on true events and is good for a low budget film.

Fuck me sideways! Just watched Compliance! What a creepy fucking film!!
USA does breed some weird fuckers...let alone susceptible human beings!
Worth a watch to others....but uncomfortable viewing for those with daughters.

Blueboy,
After the film I read up on the actual events...very very creepy, and disturbing. And quite frankly shocking how people can become so compliant and obedient when faced with authority. Madness.
Decent film though, but yes, it's not an easy watch for some people so be warned all.
