Isn't Milner injured?

Good team, but I'd take out Aguero for Guidietti.

Yaya could do with a stint on the bench for this one. Get him fresh for the Rags. Won't happen though.

I think Guidetti still isn't fit and your team isn't bad Den but I'd want to rest Yaya and Barry.

Team vs Dortmund Empty Re: Team vs Dortmund

Post by Paulpowersleftfoot Mon Dec 03, 2012 4:00 pm

Retaining the PL should be priority no 1 and with that in mind I would think Tuesday night in Dortmund is not a time to be gambling on players like Zabaleta Barry Yaya etc coming through unscathed but giving a few kids and periphery squad members a chance to shine

City's squad includes 25 senior players in addition to a further 17 Under-21 'B' players.

Full squad (* denotes B list):

Goalkeepers:
Joe Hart
Costel Pantilimon
Eirik Holmen Johansen

Defenders:
Micah Richards
Maicon
Vincent Kompany
Pablo Zabaleta
Joleon Lescott
Aleksandar Kolarov
Gael Clichy
Matija Nastasic
Kieran Kennedy*
Courtney Meppen Walters*
Reece Wabara*
Jeremy Helan*
Shay Facey*
Gregory Leigh*
Ellis Plummer*
George Swan*

Midfielders:
James Milner
Samir Nasri
Javi Garcia
Jack Rodwell
Gareth Barry
David Silva
Yaya Toure
Emyr Huws*
Albert Rusnak*
George Evans*
Louis Hutton*
George Gkendon*

Forwards:
Edin Dzeko
Sergio Aguero
Carlos Tevez
Mario Balotelli
John Guidetti
Adam Drury*
Alex Henshall*
Devante Cole*
Alex Nimley*

Jesus Christ!

Mancini will be expecting his fine for breach of contract then. Yaya's agent won't be impressed.

Ah yes, i forgot about Yaya being suspended.......is that a blessing in disguise? Wink

Save Vinny for the Rags blueboy and get Lescott in. The rest of your team looks good on paper, let's hope RM does play with 2 up front and not 5 in midfield.

How about:

Hart
Mike, Nasty, Lezza, Zabba
Garcia
Sinclair, Nasri, Balotelli
Dzeko, Tevez

Since Kolo not in CL squad, Yaya suspended, Silva and Milner injured (and I chose 12 in my original team!).

Hate to be the doom-bringer today, but no matter what side we put out tonight we will get hammered.

They were the best side we have played in a long time, better TEAM than Real.

I fear for the lads tonight.

Ditto Vince, not particularly looking forward to tonight, just want it over with and with as little injuries as possible.

Hi Melton.

I wish we didn't have to bother with it.

I went the game against them at our house and fuck me sideways, I aint seen a team play as crisp, precise and direct as they did for many a year.

Just hope we don't completely implode.

I just hope they don't click again tonight, even with how good they were against us though, we still got through them a few times. The problem is, we've got as much pace in our play at the moment as Stephen Hawking with a flat tyre.

HAHAHA! Love that analogy Melton!! Laughing

Yea, thats the thing, no pace through the team, no invention, too predictable.

We can carve chances it just seems like we couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo even when we do get a chance 5yrds out.

To be honest Vince, I'm not just worried about tonight, Sunday worries me too, I've just got a bad feeling about it. We have to click at some point soon, that's what I keep telling myself!

I would prefer us to finish bottom of the CL group and concentrate on matters of more importance, league & FA cup.
Involvement in the Europa league will only damage our chances of retaining the league

I'm not too worried about the weekend, if there's one game the players will be up for it's the derby! we win, we go top! Defence is sorted, so just need to find some scoring form, plus UTD are leaking goals.
We just have to stop the wanky tippy tappy bollox, it's worse than the bloody chuckle brothers! to me, to you, to me to you, etc ad nauseum!!
