Hazard charge with violent conduct
The FA allege Hazard's behaviour "constituted violent conduct whereby the standard punishment that would otherwise apply was clearly insufficient."
I'll just pick one incident (just happens to be Rooney) when he elbowed an opponent off the ball. Ref said he saw it as a coming together and that was the end of that.
3 game ban was enough. FA inconsistency stinks.

And even though the ref saw the Whelan tackle on Saturday he took no action but because the twat saw it, the FA will not be talking any retrospective action. What a crock of shit.

Re: Hazard charge with violent conduct
Now that IS bullshit. Hazard's apparent kicking of the ball boy was seen by the ref as well, so how is it he can get a retrospective arse-kicking and Whelan can't?
And it's not even like it was a good challenge. He jumped in the air, for god's sake! What would he have done if he'd got to the ball first? I'll tell you. He'd have landed on top of it, then fallen over.

Re: Hazard charge with violent conduct
it seems that their rules can be applied randomly to whatever case they see fit with no rhyme or reason, accountability or consistency. The FA are simply a fucking joke.

Re: Hazard charge with violent conduct
So Hazard gets 3 game ban for toe poking the ball,
Whelan gets sweet FA for a potentially (tm Fergie) "careerthreatening" lunge, 2 footed airbourne ankle breaker? I hope Mancini makes comment to this in his press conference before the game, as there's something totally amiss with this picture
