Another trip to Wembley?
Another chance with a home draw against Barnsley.
Let's hope that either Reading or Chelsea smack the rags.

Excellent draw
City v Reading or Boro in the final would be great

I'm worried about Barnsley. I have this horrible feeling we're going to underestimate them. I've decided to call them Bananasley for the time being.

We could be 20 points off the pace in the league by then. We can't afford to underestimate them.

That's Cityitis leo, thought you'd got rid of that now mate.
Kin el, if we can't beat Barnsley at home it's a poor do.......should be another 4-0 win atleast.

You'd think so, wouldn't you? But after our lacklustre performances this season, I can't help myself.

I love the comments section in this article. I weep for mankind sometimes. People are just too deluded for their own good, and have took to the headline like a fly to...well, the swamp.
Lazy journalism by the BBC and a very misconceiving headline.

Re: Another trip to Wembley?
And it's funny how they open up the comments on the provocative articles, but not the thought-provoking ones, isn't it? Reading the frothy mouthed comments of some of the more moronic members of our society, especially those who go, "Yeah, anyone could do it with all that money" and "Ferguson is the best manager in the world" ... question: If anyone could do it given enough money, does that mean Taggart could have been anyone? Maybe I should make that comment. Also the RDM comments - but he's not a manager any more!
My comment is more frothing about using Danny Mills as a City pundit. He needs to stop making money out of our club now, he's embarrassing.

Re: Another trip to Wembley?
It's baffling to think that anyone would write a comment from an article they haven't read. Just by simply deriving information from a headline.
No wonder this country is on it's ar**.
An excellent comment on 606 - "Anyone that pays 28 million for James Milner is a hopeless incompetent"
That alone just explains the delusion that must go on in some people's heads. I give up, I really do.

Re: Another trip to Wembley?
Quite. I see it all the time, I go to my local Asda which is full of people who can't even speak the language, roaming around with stupid hairdos, skin the colour of teak (in January), buying multipacks of Special Brew in their pyjamas. At three o'clock in the afternoon. I despair, I really do.
So another item to add to my political agenda: A breeding programme where the only people who are allowed to reproduce are ones with a reasonable grasp of the language and a basic understanding that alcohol purchases at 3pm are not great and pyjamas are for bedtime and not going to the supermarket. By doing this, we can reduce this underclass element and, in time, remove it altogether.

I'd also make anyone I knew with a PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification a member of my cabinet, but that's not directly related to this particular policy...

MCM,
I refuse to watch that. Manchester already has a bad enough name from the likes of Shameless....why are they making our city a laughing stock with the likes of Essex and Newcastle?!

Re: Another trip to Wembley?
No mate, it's the one in Ashton. Full of chavs wandering around in their onesies and gawping at their Blackberrys. I never thought I'd refer to Hyde as "upmarket", but at least they get dressed before they go out there!ManCityMan wrote:Leo its not the Asda in Moston/ Harpurhey across from Bernard Manning's Embassy club is it?

Re: Another trip to Wembley?
Shameless was fiction but in this case it seems that fact is not far from the fiction. It's mind boggling why people voluntarily allow cameras to follow them around while they show the world what retards they are. I can only assume that the TV company must have made them an offer they couldn't refuse, at least £50, a pack of B&H and a bottle of White Lightening.

Ashton is the biggest shite-hole ever these days, ( even more than it used to be , and it's always been grim!) I'm ashamed to say I was born in that hospital.....
