I dont envy Mancini getting the players up fer the cup. I dont know about fellow blues but after the euphoria of knowing we get a chance at CL and its beginning to sink in its left me with a fairly flat feeling.

Yes its the cup, but for all season we the fans, the press, opposition fans have been arguing about will we wont we ...and we have.

I have an enormous amount of relief in typing that but still it doesnt kick up any enthusiasm about the cup, its almost as if its an "oh yes and the cup".

Hopefully nearer the day then that love of the FA cup will come back, especially when meeting a fellow team that know what its like at times to struggle but have grown in stature in the Prem.

As I say I dont envy Mancini, its like winning a marathon and then being told your in the final of the 100 meters.

I reckon you're in the minority there Lee. It took about 40 minutes to get home on the bus last night and all everyone was talking about was Wembley.

Not me lee, i can't wait for Saturday. My stomach is in knots already, god knows what i will be like come the day, barring steaming drunk ofcourse.

Since we beat Utd in the semi, the cup has meant more to me, as winning a trophy will give me a hard on for about a month.

Boris, that was last night and a bring it on but at the moment its, right we've been there and done that, I know its wrong but its like the cup is an anticlimax to last night, all the nail biting, at home, the complete and utter joy of it all.

That will all change after 20 mins on Saturday when we are treating stoke as the footballing equivelent of the Harlem globetrotters and your knuckles are pressing your tonsils

Total opposite for me. I struggled to get overly excited about last nights game, but have been shitting it all week about the cup.

I think knowing that we could lose last night and still have it in our hands contributed to that.

Tuesday was a grim sense of satisfaction, and a 'job done' feeling at the final whistle.

Whereas if we win on Saturday, I will cry for the first time since 09-02-2005 (last child's birth!)

Remembering the elation I felt after we beat "them" in the semi's and not being able to do anything constructive all day after the win - I know I will be very emotional if we do beat them Globetrotters

I kind of know where you're coming from lee. The way this season has gone, the disappointment of the Europa League, then the build up and pressure of 4th after we got to Wembley.

If we were 8th, with no chance of getting into a top 4 spot - then all focus is on Wembley.....but we have had some nail-biting times since we battered the rags, which for me, being greedy, my focus has been on the 4th spot.

However, now thats in the bag.............i'm really, really excited, nervous, apprehensive etc about Saturday.................just like a normal League match then!

Come Friday night, the nerves will build and build for all of us. The memories of 81'......the banner at the swamp........the thought of the glory......the prospect of the summer transfer window.....the bus parade...and even more..................................................THE RELEASE OF "THE BLUE MOON HAS RISEN" DVD!!!!

To be honest although it's great to get CL football next season I can't get over excited about coming 4th

The FA Cup however is a trophy & we need one. I am well excited about it. I've always loved the cup & if we win it I'll be on a high for the rest of the year !!

I was crapping myself for the entire second half on Tuesday and then when the final whistle went my first thought was... 'Oh!... Is that what all the fuss is about?

Just hope I get more excited on Saturday!

Sorry lee but i'm 46 and i was crying like a baby after the semi - and i'm sure my lad was too (but he did it in private). I will be an emotional wreck all day on saturday, it has been a long wait.

But the wait is bloody well and truly over now... GET IN!!!
