He's turned out to be a spectacular bit of business...  Not just a brilliant goal scoring ratio, but the perfect foil for Aguero as well.  Watching those two terrorise defences is pure joy.

Negredo's a great player and a natural goalscorer.....both him and Serge are without doubt the best strike partnership in the PL.
He's a truely great find for us and he might just be the added difference we need to win back the title.
Here's hoping eh.

Soldado was about £26M and Lamela was £30M. Loving it!

I've got Aguero in mine.  As Captain.  So that yellow card has hurt my score a bit

So did i leo.....just put Negredo in for Sturridge. I'm obviously hoping our away form kicks into gear now

Both got a rest as well...thought Sergio was wasteful yesterday, but still played well. Comes to something when we're disappointed he got a yellow card and didn't score!!

Soldado missed another sitter yesterday, he is fast becoming the worse buy of the season. poor spudlets.

Has Soldado actually scored a goal that wasn't a penalty?

3 pens in premier league and 1 goal not from the spot. I think a couple of those pens looked a bit dodgy too.

Has Lamela been a worse buy for £30M?

Lamela has been worse than Willian.  And when you think both those players cost their respective clubs a cool £30m each, suddenly the £30m we splurged on Fernandinho seems like a decent purchase.

Of course, it also means the £16m we spent on Nedge was a steal 

Negredo was a bargain at £16M. Sergio has proven to be a bargain at £38M.

I suspect if both were to be put up for sale, their true fee would probably be at least double what we paid. David Silva cost us about £24M and he's got to be worth nearer £40M. We've done some good business now and then!

A few weeks ago I heard that the best pairing in the Premier was a certain Rooney and Van Persie.What happened to them?The rags scored 5 the other day,that was their total GD in the prem.Whereas we had scored 22 GD and then we put another 3 past Swansea and their Manager said that his team did nothing wrong,City were just too good,and Laudrup knows what he is talking about.I just hope we can sort out our away form,then we can still catch Arsenal:P
