Nasri - 3 year contract extension

Good news! There were some rumblings around some players being in their last year, so it's nice to see we're doing something about it. And it'll be worth it if he can keep playing like he is.

Probably? I don't think there's an awful lot of competition for that title. Kolarov is the only other player who is significantly better than last season.

Nasri ,Garcia & kolarov are much better under pel than they were under Mancini. Garcia has definitely improved since his return from injury.

all of 2 games...but yes, he has at least looked better. still won't hold my breath though.

Yes, but only in the last two games. Prior to that he was bob useless.

So he's not actually signed/been offered one yet.....umm.

I think it's showed how much we've missed him (when he's been out) this season....and we probably wouldn't have said that last. His improvement has warranted this extension and shows how important the management feel he is to us too.

I'm just hoping it's not the lure of World Cup football that's making him step up a gear. It'll piss me right off if he goes back to being a dobbin next season and I fear I'll have to hunt him down and give him a right good kick up the arse.

Hopefully he won't. Hopefully he'll be able to keep proving that he and David are a creative midfield force and that the two of them, combined with Serge, will scare the living crap out of every defence they come up against.
