Re: United vs Man City - Match Thread
I'm thinking he'll play Dzeko instead as he played Nedge on Saturday. Other than that, I think this is pretty much on the money.
Ooh, I've just found the email I got last year with the free NowTV codes for Sky Sports in it! I've got two left and they need using by April 10th, so I'm queueing up tonight's game and the match against the Gooners on Saturday!

That's pretty attacking....with Navas, only problem is Yaya will sit.

What a surprise no city representative in the coverage again.

How was shrek not booked for that?? Still, this rag side aren't offering too much so far and we should be more than one up.

Re: United vs Man City - Match Thread
Fucking disgraceful from the 'little boy' referee.....
Fellaini an absolute dirty twat. Deliberate elbow in the face of Zaba....he books our players for fouls, but Rooney, the bald headed scouse wanker, tackles from behind and gets nothing???
Still, 1-0 up....but apart from that, we've been very wasteful in the final third....Yaya consistently picks the ball up in the centre circle, absolutely no-one near him...could run 25-30 yrds with the ball...but he decides to play a simple pass sideways!
We need to seriously up our decision making, as we should be 3-0 up here....Navas has been very wasteful, so has Silva....all in all, 1-0 up is OK, but we've really been average overall....we can do much better when attacking.
For me, apart from his goal, Dzeko's been crap...get Negredo on....at least he can control a ball.
Come on.......

I disagree with you on Dzeko, he's looked pretty sharp so far. I think Fernandinho has been less than impressive.
Still, one nil is better than nowt.
All three games tonight are one nil to the away side. How weird is that?

We are sitting back though, need to press more like we did to Barca, they won't be able to handle it.
Fellini still being on is an absolute disgrace! But utd don't get decisions at old toilet do they! Tossers.

Nah...disagree...he's been lazy...he's not making any runs into the box when we have the ball with Nasri, Navas or Silva...they then have to play the ball back inside as they've no-one to play the ball into feet to...as he's lumbering around the place. Still, if he scores again, I'm happy to eat my words.
Even Scholes said it was a clear red card. Wanker of a ref.

Piece of cake, United are utter crap this season.
Now we're up to second, just three points behind Chelsea and two games in hand. And Arsenal shot themselves in the foot as well!

Why the hell did I ever doubt that we'd spank them?
That was their cup final, and they couldn't even get up for it!

Great result and deserving victory. That should put those deluded Rag fans, who thought they had a chance tonight, right back in their shells.
There can't be any let up now.

It made me laugh that they thought beating two crap teams would mean they were back on top. Talk about deluded!

Was it just me, or did anyone else think Demichelis played well tonight......not as well as Silva, Fernandinho and Vince mind, but still pretty good.

He gave the ball away a couple of times in the 2nd half but he made some good tackles as well.

Re: United vs Man City - Match Thread
Happy to say....DeM had a decent game tonight....still, one or two dodgy passes nearly cost us...but overall, very solid and he read the game really well.
Moyes.....you've got to think he is the biggest COCK on the planet.....asked in his post match interview:
"Thoughts on Fellaini's elbow on Zabaletta?"
his reply...
"I've not seen it, you normally do show it to me, but I thought at the time that it wasn't even a free kick"
Bless him....he looks like he's about to keel over with embarrassment at his and his teams ineptitude.
Don't ya love it????

Re: United vs Man City - Match Thread
We had 2 very unbiased commentators who clearly thought City were far superior to them. Clear red for Fellaini - evil bastard and Rooney was very lucky. Spineless ref. All the City fans singing "Fergie Fergie - give us a wave" - laughed at that. I felt sorry for Nasri as he didn't have a good night and Kompany needs to watch those early yellows - he thought he'd got sent off for that last tackle - even took off his armband. Martin had a good game - and poor old Zab - he will be very sore tomorrow. What a warrior. Nerve wracking for a while tho wasn't it?

Me too Dawg. Kept saying to the boy, even with less than ten minutes to go, that I thought they'd scrape a flukey draw.
Will Cityitis ever be out of my system?

Guess it's now part of our DNA...I said exactly the same thing, they'll get one back and then score a last second equaliser!

Re: United vs Man City - Match Thread
Sad to say I am still yet to see the game. Was on at 03.45am, so recorded it. Got home from work switched on the box and found i'd recorded uniturd v west ham. Luckily it is on again later so reset recorder whilst I am out playing squash so will prob get to see it about 10.00pm tonight.
Blue keep giving Dzeko grief as it appears he likes to score when you do. I expect you to really lay into him during the Arsenal game.
