Manchester Pre season Tournament?

City, United, Bolton, Wigan, Blackburn, Oldham, Stockport, Bury, Everton, L/pool & whoever else from the North West in tournament over one weekend in July.

It would never happen these days with the big boys going all over the world pre season but I'am sure something like this would draw in decent sized crowds, you could throw in the odd european "guest" club to spice it up a bit aswell.

Like you said, it ain't going to happen. It would be a good money spinner for the smaller clubs, but to be fair, the likes of City & United do send teams to play these teams, albeit, usually reserves and kids.

Unfortunately, increasing your profile and bank balance now dictates where you go pre season, something else we can all blame United for.

Nahh, the scars of standing in the stand at Edgely Park while watching us getting beat off the mighty Stockport are still fresh in my mind, i hope i've left that shit behind for good.

I'd rather city invite Poznan,Schalke and Aris over for a mini tournament at eastlands,the place would be rocking
