CSKA Fan Ban? You sure UEFA?

I'm sure UEFA will come up with some feeble excuses as to why they were there.

If it was at an English club though, they'd be banned for 5yrs.

They're claiming that they were UEFA sponsors tickets...just so happens that they are taken by CSKA fans who were pissed and cheering on their team...

I was thinking that throughout the game... the sneaky Russians got it but they must have paid Uefa off so ...

Don't really give a crap who they were, or where they got their tickets. At the end of the day it doesn't excuse how totally abject we were. Just think, if 600 CSKA fans can cause us to let a 2-0 lead slip, just think what 30,000 of them would've done!
Smoke screen, excuse finding, red herring, irrelevance.... call it what you will, it's not an excuse for that performance. VK should keep his mouth shut and concentrate on his own faults, not UEFA's. He's just making more of a knob of himself at the moment.

I agree but no one is making excuses. This thread is about the fans in the stadium but there is no excuse for the result and VK as captain did the right thing to mention it so Uefa know we are not happy... you can't keep quite on these things...and I really dont think VK is the kind of person to make excuses...

Well not that I want to progress in that way but Celtic got their result against Donesk wiped and were reinstated because the Poles played an ineligible player for the last 2 minutes of a match they lost resulting 1-6 on aggregate. In my opinion, if CSKA are found to have breached the order to play behind closed doors then they should receive a similar punishment.
