7 arrests before 8am already!

I know, fecking hate this country sometimes.  Punch somebody in the face to stop them getting the TV you want? WTF

Shops as much to blame, just not organised.

I've just done a load on Amazon, they do similar bargains and will deliver them to me tomorrow for nothing.   No Brainer.

Do these people not work?

A big electrical chain in France (like Dixons/Currys) had 7 deals and called it Black Friday too. And those deals entitled you to 6 vouchers, one every month from January, for the amount you spent. So you have to buy something from them every month for 6 months to finally get your deal. And they only had 250 of a particular vacuum cleaner in the whole country and the other 6 offers were for shitty products.

At least you guys get some good offers, even if you have to fight for them.

Know someone who went and said the deals weren't worth it. £50 off a tv, 50% off a kettle...and 10-20% off other things.

It's just trying to get people in to buy something.

She said that people were buying things just for the sake of it....so I guess the marketing worked.

She walked out after 2 hours of seeing nothing she wanted and the one or two things she saw, had 10% off.

ASDA said that last year they sold a month's work of tvs in an hour.  I was tempted by 25% off a PS4 before accepting I didn't need it as I haven't used my PS3 for over two years!

I bought a kindle fire TV only a tenner off but only £65 and that is so I can hack the shit out of it to get the live footy with XBMC.  Our $ky goes off on Tuesday and simply not bothering with it again, robbing barstewards.  We've played the cancel game for years for discounts but I've even had enough of that now.   XBMC carries some good quality streams if you know where to look

It's a community media player that grew from old XBOX original called Xbox Media Centre or XBMC.

It's in process of changing name to Kodi but it has many streaming addons, sports and movies being main ones.

The Amazon Fire TV is a neat little box for all sorts of media streaming.  Netflix & Amazon Prime as well as catch up TV.  With added benefit you can hack it to run XBMC / Kodi.  Fairly painless process for non techies too.

Ive been to the big stores in the USA on Black Friday when the stores like Macey's, open at midnight on Thursday night and the stores are jam packed but nobody is trying to punch the crap out of each other.
