There's talk of him coming to us on a short term loan whilst we have no strikers. It's a decent shout, he's 33 but still quality. We'd have too many non HG players though.

If we wanted him, we'd have done it by now I'd have thought.

Tbh, we've proved we don't really need a striker, couple that with Jovetic due back in a couple of games time and Dzeko n Serge are due back in 2-3wks.

As you said, if Villa was a serious contender to come, he'd have been here by now.
