Milner to Liverpool
http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/419014/Liverpool-Man-City-Steven-Gerrard
I'm sure a lot of what is written in the article may be nonsense, but IF he has been told his wages won't be improved - how much would Liverpool be prepared to pay him in wages?
I know it'd be a free - but they'd have to be offering him £120k+ pw. He must be on close to £100k pw at the moment.

Re: Milner to Liverpool
They wouldn't get him for free as he'd command a huge signing on fee. He'd easily be able to ask them for £5M, maybe even £10M+. If you had to buy Milner now, he'd have to set you back over £20M so paying him a fee of £10M is a fantastic deal.
If he was just after the money, he'd go to Liverpool. Being first choice in their midfield wuld help too, but would he win trophies???

He's got potential though. We wouldn't touch him with a barge pole because he has previous.

Re: Milner to Liverpool
England star Milner is out of contract at the Etihad at the end of this season and has still to agree a new deal with the big spenders.
Premier League rivals Liverpool are waiting in the wings to lure Milner to Anfield if he cannot agree terms with City.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has earmarked Milner as a replacement for Steven Gerrard, who is set to join MLS outfit LA Galaxy in the summer.
Talks between City and Milner's representatives have been ongoing for several months but no agreements has been reached.
Pellegrini believes Milner is one of the most versatile and influential members of his squad and is desperate not to lose him.
Now he has told club bosses to give Milner what he needs so he can pledge his long-term future to the billionaires.
Milner turned 29 last weekend and knows this could be the last big contract he signs.
The midfielder will be looking to secure a significant pay hike but Pellegrini is willing to meet his wage demands to keep him out of the clutches of the Reds.
A club source said: "The manager rates him highly. He can play in several positions and is rarely injured.
"He's also English, which helps meet UEFA demands on quotas, so his value to the club is obvious."

Henderson can't even lick Miner's boots. Milner would be their best player by far if he joined.

I still think he is going to go or he would have signed already. 1st name on the teamsheet is what he wants and I think Liverpool will give him that.

I would suspect he's one of the first on ours at the moment.

For the fans Bluey. He's had less minutes than several players including Navas.

Re: Milner to Liverpool
He shouldn't go. Liverpool are shit. We should be busting a gut to keep him. To replace him would cost over £20M so an extra £1M a year on his wages is nothing really.
