WBA looked in big trouble having conceded 26 goals in 18 games. In the last 11 games, they've conceded 10 goals. Breaking it down further, we can see it took a few games to get things sorted and then they've been tighter than a gnats chuff.

Games 7-12    10 goals conceded
Games 13-18   9 goals conceded
Games 19-24   8 goals conceded (Pulis appointed here)
Games 25-29   2 goals conceded

Crystal Palace conceded 21 goals in 10 games last season. Pulis arrived and then they conceded 1 in the next 5 games before Chelsea stuck 2 past them. In the 28 games he was manager, they conceded 27 goals (the last 3 games cost them 7 goals inc 3 against Liverpool and 2 against City).
